Special Observation Dance Class

3-4 Year Old, Tuesday 10:00 AM Class

As you know, next Tuesday, May 3, is our final class for this school year. You are invited to attend this class as an observer. (We don’t like to call you an “audience.” That puts extra pressure on many of our little dancers.)

Please arrive before 10:00 AM, so that when we come in to the classroom, you are already there. You can tell your child in advance that you will be there to “see what you do in dance class.” Don’t make a big issue of it. Don’t fix their hair in any extra-ordinary way. This is not a recital, not a performance. We will just demonstrate for you some of the things that we have been working on this year. If your child is distracted by your presence, and doesn’t participate fully, don’t worry about it. For many children of this age, that’s a natural reaction. Some will be shy. Some will be overly active. Let your dancer be “herself/himself.”

Thank you for the good year and for your cooperation. We hope to see you again in the fall. If you have any concerns about your child in this activity, please feel free to talk to me.
