CompuDance has a module called A File of
Some Friends.
This is where you can keep a data base
of names/addresses important to your studio.
Some Examples?
Let's assume that Mrs. Watson calls expressing an interest
in
enrolling her daughter, Sally, in your beginning tap class.
But, that
class is full.
You would put Sally in A File of Some
Friends,
code her
as a potential beginning tap student,
and then you could periodically send
mailings to her mother.
Now, when a beginning tap class opens up,
you can simply transfer Sally's
record from A File of Some Friends
to your student database.
Or, you might want to keep your deleted students in this file
just in case they
return.
Many studios keep former students in here
so that they can keep in touch throughout
the year,
especially when it comes time for the annual alumni reunion.
